Job Title: Operations Support Coordinator

Location: Adelaide’s Northern Suburbs (Free on-site parking)

Sector: Manufacturing / Construction Supply Chain

Position Type: Full-time, Permanent

About the Company

Our client is a premier, fast-growing manufacturing powerhouse supplying high-quality materials directly to Australia’s booming construction sector. Located in Adelaide’s northern suburbs, they pride themselves on innovation, safety, and a down-to-earth team culture.

With projects lining up for the foreseeable future, they are looking for an organized, proactive Operations Support Coordinator to be the glue that holds the production office and the factory floor together.

The Role

In this fast-paced position, you won't just be sitting behind a desk. You will be the vital link between scheduling, production, and dispatch. Your mission is to ensure that order processing flows smoothly, materials are where they need to be, and the construction clients receive their orders on time, every time.

If you thrive in environments where no two days are the same and enjoy the buzz of a manufacturing plant, this is the role for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Order Administration: Process incoming orders from the sales team and translate them into accurate production schedules.
  • Logistics & Dispatch Support: Coordinate with transport providers and internal drivers to schedule deliveries to construction sites.
  • Inventory Control: Monitor raw material stock levels and assist with ordering supplies to ensure zero production downtime.
  • Data Management: Maintain and update the ERP/MRP system with accurate production data and lead times.
  • Cross-Department Liaison: Act as the central point of contact between the factory floor, site managers, and customer service.
  • Safety & Compliance: Assist the Operations Manager with maintaining safety documentation and QA records.

What We Are Looking For

  • Industry Experience: Previous experience working within a manufacturing, engineering, or building/construction environment is highly regarded.
  • System Savvy: Strong proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Pronto, MYOB Advanced) and the MS Office Suite (especially Excel).
  • Problem Solvers: Someone who can think on their feet when logistics timelines shift or production schedules change.
  • Communication Skills: The ability to communicate effectively with everyone from factory-floor fabricators to corporate project managers.
  • Organization: Superior time-management skills with a proven ability to juggle competing priorities without dropping the ball.

What’s in It for You?

  • Competitive Salary: Attractive remuneration package tailored to your experience.
  • Work-Life Balance: Standard day-shift hours with a local northern suburbs commute—say goodbye to city traffic!
  • Stability & Growth: Join a vital industry with long-term job security and clear pathways for career progression into operations management.
  • Great Culture: A supportive, inclusive team environment where hard work is recognized and celebrated.
